About the Job

We are seeking a passionate Developer Advocate with a strong focus on building and engaging with developer communities. As a Community Builder, you will be responsible for creating and fostering relationships with our community, organizing events, doing livestreams, managing our Discord/Slack community, and gathering feedback from users. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of developer workflows and needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Build and foster relationships with our developer community, partners, and customers through various channels such as social media, forums, and events.
• Organize and host developer events such as meetups, hackathons, and workshops to engage with the community and provide value.
• Plan and execute livestreams to showcase new features, conduct demos, and provide technical content.
• Manage our Discord/Slack community, including monitoring discussions, providing technical support, and ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.
• Gather feedback from users and provide insights to internal teams to help drive product development.
• Create and deliver technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, and presentations to educate and inspire our developer community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineering, and marketing, to ensure that the needs of developers are represented and addressed in our products and services.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0-1 years of experience as a developer, with expertise in one or more programming languages and developer tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in building and engaging with developer communities.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute events and livestreams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel to attend events and engage with the developer community.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Developer Advocate or similar role with a focus on community building.
• Experience managing online communities such as Discord, Slack, or forums.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and services.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices, including agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
