Masai is currently seeking an experienced Developer Relations and Community Lead to join our team and help build a thriving, engaged, and sustainable community of tech enthusiasts and professionals.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive developer relations and community strategy that fosters a strong sense of belonging, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among techies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry influencers, tech experts, and developers to create partnerships and collaborations that benefit the Masai tech community.
- Organise and host community events, webinars, workshops, and meetups to engage with techies and provide valuable learning and networking opportunities.
- Identify and champion the latest technologies, tools, and trends that techies are passionate about to ensure Masai remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Work closely with the marketing and content teams to create and distribute high-quality, relevant, and engaging content that resonates with techies and addresses their needs, challenges, and aspirations.
- Monitor and analyse community engagement metrics to optimise community initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
- Act as the voice of the community within Masai, providing feedback and insights to inform product development, curriculum improvements, and overall strategic direction.
- Provide support and guidance to community members, fostering a positive and inclusive environment where techies feel motivated, inspired, and supported.
- Manage and moderate Masai’s community platforms to maintain a healthy, productive, and respectful environment for all members.
Skills & Experience
- At least 3-5 years of experience in developer relations, community management, or a similar role within the tech industry.
- Strong understanding of the latest technologies, tools, and trends in the tech industry, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills, with a track record of building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in organising and hosting events, webinars, workshops, and other community engagement activities.
- Proven ability to create and distribute compelling, relevant, and engaging content for techies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in analysing community engagement metrics and optimising community initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
