Snyk's Emerging Talent Program is dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive professional development experience during the 3-month internship. Throughout your time at Snyk, you will work on impactful projects and tasks directly related to our corporate priorities, as well as participate in intern cohort specific programming events (i.e. “Ask Me Anything” sessions with company executives, engagement events, and workshops on topics related to early career development) that will give you insight into what it’s like to be a Snyker!
Our Communications team is looking for an energetic, driven, and hands-on individual to join us and grow our audiences by creating and distributing high-value social content across our social channels.
As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you’ll support our Social Media Manager in maintaining our social media publishing calendar and creating social media content that caters to various audiences across our official channels. You’ll also play a crucial role in enabling our employees to help amplify our messages through our employee advocacy program. This individual will collaborate with various teams within the company to bring engaging content to life!
Job Responsibilities
- Assisting with copy editing, creating social media content for Snyk channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) as well as Snyk’s employee advocacy program
- Scheduling and publishing approved social copy to be published on our social media channels
- Submitting requests to design teams
- Helping out with reporting after campaign/product launches
- Supporting social media campaigns related to Talent Brand, Customer Advocacy, Partner Marketing, Demand Generation, and Developer Relations
Skills & Experience
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a target graduation date in 2025 or 2026
- Current and future authorization to work in the United States
- Able and willing to work out of our Boston office at least 3 days per week
- An interest in social media marketing and active involvement in campus extracurricular activities
- Ability to take initiative and be adaptable when working on projects
- Eagerness to learn and curiosity — don’t be afraid to ask questions!
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite
