Product Marketing Manager, Developer Marketing
About the Job
As the Product Marketing Manager (Developer Marketing) you will define and complete the go-to-market strategy for Miro’s Developer Platform and drive the growth and success of our developer ecosystem.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a passion for working with and understanding the needs of different developer audiences and taking the platform to market. You must be a strong collaborator that is comfortable working with internal customers across Product, Engineering, Developer Relations, Marketing, Partnerships and external developers, partners, and customers.
You’ll be a strong creative marketer who knows what’s important to developers and how to communicate with them through valuable marketing initiatives. You’ll highlight the value of the developer platform both internally and externally, driving up the number of priority use-case apps built, and helping our sales team share the value of custom apps to our enterprise customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Build incentives and education targeted to the developer persona
- Develop clear and value driven messaging and positioning of Miro Platform
- Orchestrate and execute an integrated platform developer go-to-market strategy with coordination across marketing, DevRel, GTM, and product teams
- Work with external partners who speak to the developer persona to create marketing campaigns driving toward acquisition of developers to the platform
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns aimed at attracting the wider developer community
- Create sales and customer success enablement to highlight the platform to enterprise customers and prospects
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years relevant experience in marketing for the developer audience
- Strong background of achieving success in taking platforms to market
- Background in working with external partners to drive awareness and acquisition of the developers audience
- Skilled at user research, translating the needs of developer audiences, crafting positioning/messaging that resonates with technical audience, building developer-specific marketing strategies, and methods of measuring success
- Understanding of technical concepts such as APIs, SDKs, and other relevant developer tools
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills—ability to formulate and articulate business value, joint value propositions with internal and external audiences, particularly developers and partners
