Job Responsibilities 

  • Developer Engagement Expertise: Take ownership of the developer persona and their journey touchpoints. Deeply understand learning preferences, feature priorities, and maintain a segmented view of the developer audience. 
  • Strategic Product Messaging: Collaborate with the enterprise Product Marketing Managers to support targeted product launches and messaging for developers. Your expertise will ensure our products resonate within this crucial audience. 
  • Conversion Strategy: Support conversion efforts from trial to paid users by mapping developer journeys. Define optimal engagement channels and create top-of-funnel (TOFU) content guiding them through the buying process. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, technical writers, and marketing, ensuring alignment in developer engagement. 
  • Tailored Content Creation: Develop technical content catered to developers, such as blog posts, webinars, white papers, and data sheets. Effectively communicate product features to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Sales Enablement: Design and deliver comprehensive product knowledge, tools, and training to the sales team, equipping them to effectively promote our products. 
  • Unified Messaging Framework: Extend your impact by creating consistent positioning and messaging frameworks across the business, empowering teams to align with our tone and values. 
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches, collaborating with sales, customer success, and marketing teams for seamless releases. 
  • Market Insights: Develop and maintain competitive intelligence, customer personas, and market segmentation data, refining our product marketing strategy. 
  • Sales Support: Empower the sales team with high-quality technical sales collateral and presentations, enhancing customer engagement and deal closure. 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of product marketing, solutions engineering, or developer relations experience in the software or tech industry, with emphasis on developer tools or enterprise solutions. 
  • Technical Content Creation: Demonstrated experience in crafting technical content such as whitepapers, datasheets, blog posts, documentation, etc. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical acumen, capable of distilling complex concepts into clear messaging for diverse audiences. Basic understanding of software development languages and frameworks. 
  • Autonomous and Agile: Self-starter comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and adapting in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Effective Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical concepts. 
  • Collaboration: Collaborative experience across functions like product management, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success. 
  • Analytical Approach: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach. 
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

Assets

  • Understanding of the document processing or developer tools market is a plus.
  • Experience as a developer is preferred.
